Section Head-Mechanical JOB

Mechanical Maintenance  Support in planning and budgeting for planning and budgeting for Mechanical maintenance of MGRL plant (Up to Pyro) based on the overall production plan of the unit.  Monitor the timely maintenance of all machinery, equipment, systems & utilities to ensure reliability and availability of the same for timely production ensuring safe and sustainable practices.  Ensure execution of various preventive/predictive maintenance practices as per plan and ensure effective equipment utilisation. Also ensure timely availability of spares at the optimum cost including supply chain management of spares.  Lead alternate vendor development and long-term partner initiatives to enhance the QCD of spares supply.  Monitor implementation of improved maintenance practices and also ensure timely replacement/ modifications/ upgradations in plant & machinery (Projects involving CAPEX/ OPEX) including contractor / bills management.  Lead various cost savings initiatives in the areas of variable cost of maintenance, spares (including inventory management), process and specific cost savings projects including automation.  Plan and ensure availability of various maintenance parameters such as MTBF, MTTR etc. as per requirements for the plant and initiate improvement practices to enhance effectiveness.  Ensure Safety Management, Environment Management, IMS compliance and compliance to other regulatory requirements General  Ensure proper documentation of various records as per statutory and company requirements.  Ensure updation of data in SAP as per guidelines.  Support Head in liaising with various Governmental agencies for various approvals, submission of information and sanctions.  Participate in root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for the maintenance breakdowns.  Ensure capability building with in the team to ensure effectiveness in operation
