This position is responsible for performing a variety of material handling functions including operating powered industrial equipment, handling inbound and outbound products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate distribution center machinery including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and sweepers in a safe and efficient manner.</li> <li>Perform outbound picking, packing, and staging of orders for shipment.</li> <li>Perform inbound receiving and stocking of materials into appropriate warehouse locations.</li> <li>Assist with cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory records.</li> <li>Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and safety of the facility.</li> <li>Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs or safety issues.</li> <li>Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance goals and productivity targets.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.</li> <li>Must be certified or able to become certified to operate forklifts and reach trucks.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.</li> <li>Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Basic computer or RF scanner skills preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.</li> <li>Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong><em>NOTE:</em></strong><em> This document outlines the general nature and level of work expected from individuals in this role.&nbsp; It's important to understand that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills.&nbsp; Additional tasks or job functions that can be safely performed may be required as necessary by supervisory personnel.&nbsp; This flexibility in additional duties showcases the company's adaptability and encourages employees to be versatile.
