We’re an established and growing online gaming company operating in the sweepstakes casino space. As we expand, we’re setting up a dedicated frontend team — and we’re looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to take charge. This is a key role where you’ll start hands-on, shaping the codebase and architecture, while also laying the groundwork for a team you’ll lead as we scale. Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development across our existing and new products.
- Modernize our current stack (yes, there's legacy jQuery/Bootstrap) while delivering real business value.
- Drive architecture, performance, and UI/UX improvements.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers over time.
- Own the quality of everything your team ships — from tech to process.
Tech Stack:TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Next.js, React.js / Svelt.js, Webpack / Vite, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, PWA, Packaging for mobile apps, REST APIs & WebSocket integrations, GitHub + CI/CD workflows
Requirements
- 3-5 + frontend experience, ideally in high-traffic web environments.
- Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and deep experience with frameworks like React/Next.js.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time UIs.
- Prior experience in a tech lead or team lead role.
- Comfortable navigating and improving legacy systems.
- Strong sense of ownership, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Gaming or casino industry experience is a bonus — but not required.
