About the Role

Description

Assigned Territory – Birmingham, AL

AXLE Funding, a leading finance provider of automobile floorplans (financing), is seeking a Lot Auditor to join it’s team. This position is responsible for conducting floorplan audits at wholesale and retail dealer locations in their assigned territory (must live in the assigned territory listed above). This position will be responsible to physically verify floorplanned inventory, inspect dealership records, record the disposition of missing inventory using a handheld device.


Essential Functions:

  • Complete audits: Verify in stock inventory by inspecting the VIN/serial number for each floorplanned inventory unit.
  • Meet with authorized dealership personnel to identify the disposition of missing inventory units.
  • Review and verify the authenticity of dealer records and other documentation associated with sold, missing and damaged inventory units.
  • Verify the status of MSOs and titles.
  • Reconcile any units not found or any unusual circumstances.
  • Communicate and Record status information for each inventory unit using our proprietary mobile application
  • Upload audits during the completion of the audit. Record information about dealer visit.
  • Review audit results with dealer personnel.
  • Communicate with client representatives about audit results, dealer conditions, and risk potential.
  • Collections: support collection activity up to and including coordination of physical repossessions and representation of company on site as required.
  • Administrative responsibilities such as expense reporting, performance reports and daily time keeping.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be located in the Assigned Territory
  • Ability to work independently – strong work ethic to complete all responsibilities timely
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no major violations or excessive points
  • Mut be able to travel 75% of the time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all elements of the environment
  • Attention to detail and making sure everything is completed
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Strong communication skills to deal professionally with the customers
  • Ability to lift and move items
