POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Account & Program Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts and growing Beacon’s wallet-share while serving as the main interface between the customer and Beacon. This is an exciting opportunity for strategic thinkers with strong negotiation skills who like to work tactically to execute strategic plans and take pride in leading high priority programs with high visibility.
Reports to: Senior Director of Business Development
Location: Eden Prairie, MN in-Office
Starting Salary Information: $100,000-$135,000 plus commission incentives
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct supervision responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities for this role
- Manage accounts by representing Beacon’s team externally with clients and internally by working with team members in various supporting positions
- Drive booking and revenue goals by account and program
- Effective day-to-day client communication as it relates to current and upcoming projects
- Manage projects within accounts and provide feedback with detailed direction and timelines
- Oversee assigned customer costing and pricing process to achieve margin and profitability targets. Lead and coach the internal project teams
- Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels
- Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis
- Establish and analyze program profitability against targeted levels and identify causes for discrepancies and opportunities for improvement - drive corrective action efforts as required
- Identify opportunities to fulfill customer requirements cost effectively and suggest alternative approaches, where appropriate
- Effectively escalate issues in a timely manner

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in account & program management or similar role in the electronics industry
- Ability to effectively bring together internal resources to create and deliver winning solutions
- Proven skills to establish schedules, timelines, action plans, budgets and project tracking
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong negotiation skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong sense of urgency, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Adhere to quality management systems (QMS)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Understanding, execution and adherence to ISO 13485, CFR 21 Part 820, ISO 9001 and ISO 9001D
- Professional certifications (PMP, SixSigma, EMS Program Management, etc.)
- Experience with regulated markets (Medical, Aerospace and Defense)
- Experience with manufacturing and/or operations planning
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience using Intuitive, Empower, Tortious SVN documentation management and CRM or PLM tools
- Experience with following Program & Project Management principles is required:
- Proven experience with general project management waterfall lifecycle
- Background in phase-gate development process and lifecycle
- Clear understanding verification & validation processes as it relates to new designs, design changes and the impact to manufacturing processes
- In-depth experience with creating project plans/schedules, & budgets

- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, like that of an office setting
- The noise level in the manufacturing area is moderate
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Work Authorization
- The candidate must meet the definition of “US Person” under ITAR/EAR regulations.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, on-site position
- Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, but does allow for some flexibility
- It may be necessary to work more than 40 hours per week at times to produce the required results
