CT Technologist (Per Diem)

<p>The CT Technologist will be tasked with delivering high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging services to patients at our New York City clinic on a per diem basis. While we may not be able to respond to every submission, we’ll keep your information on file for upcoming openings.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional</li> <li>Clearly and professionally explain the procedure, medications, or contrast media to patients, including their purpose and potential biological effects, to ensure patients are well-informed and understand the process&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure</li> <li>Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging</li> <li>Examining images to ensure they’re usable</li> <li>Accurately document patient information and procedure details in the electronic medical record system</li> <li>Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment</li> <li>Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform all other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a CT Technologist, with a strong understanding of CT imaging principles and protocols</li> <li>Deep familiarity with CT scan equipment (GE and Canon)</li> <li>Active&nbsp; ARRT certification</li> <li>Basic knowledge of anatomy, biology and chemistry and how to administer IVs</li> <li>Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with CT scan equipment performance</li> <li>Observational skills to notice any problems with images</li> <li>Strong oral communications skills to field patients’ questions and collaborate with other members of the care team</li> <li>Organizational skills to maintain an orderly supply area</li> <li>Mathematics skills to manage contrast administration and maintain inventory</li> <li>Computer proficiency to operate CT scan equipment, use G-suite and update medical records using health information systems software</li> <li>Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong></p> <ul> <li>$60 - $80 per hour</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>WHY JOIN US?</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Biograph is on a mission to drive meaningful advances in human healthspan and lifespan.
