<h2>Your Role</h2>
<p>We’re looking for a Sports Scientist Support Specialist to work directly with users, handling complex customer issues related to human performance. </p>
<p>This role focuses on: </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Monitoring internal and external load variables</strong>. You’ll utilize a combination of software and hardware within the WIMU advanced athlete monitoring ecosystem. </li>
<li><strong>Improving product knowledge</strong>. You’ll be a key member in helping us increase our customers’ knowledge throughout our Latin America region, most specifically within Mexico (i.e., high performing universities, national governing bodies and professional sports organizations). </li>
</ul>
<p>For this role, we’re currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our coworking space in Mexico City (Colonia Juárez)</p>
<h2>Must-Haves</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Academically qualified.</strong> You hold a higher education academic background in exercise, sports science or related fields. </li>
<li><strong>A field expert. </strong>You have a strong understanding of applied sport science in high-performance analysis, particularly in physical conditioning and wearable technologies.</li>
<li><strong>Adaptable.</strong> You’re comfortable working within quick deadlines and when needed, including some weekends. You’re available to travel as necessary.</li>
<li><strong>Communication skills.</strong> You confidently explain solutions with clarity and a human touch, ensuring technical issues are resolved or escalated when necessary.</li>
<li><strong>Multilingual. </strong>You speak Spanish and English fluently. (Any other languages are a plus.)</li>
</ul>
<h2>Nice-to-Haves</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Certifications. </strong>Possessing CPSS, CSCS or an equivalent certification would be a strong plus.</li>
<li><strong>A problem solver.</strong> You’re skilled in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, running diagnostics and providing effective resolutions.</li>
<li><strong>A tactful teacher. </strong>You can lead training plans and create educational content, including workshops and webinars, with a strong pedagogical approach that ensures a clear and effective knowledge transfer.</li>
<li><strong>Sporting experience. </strong>If you’ve worked with elite sports teams, especially in analyzing athlete performance data, that knowledge would serve you well in this role.</li>
<li><strong>Customer-focused.</strong> You bring prior experience in customer support.</li>
</ul>
