This role is critical in supporting the execution of the Lucid Production System (LPS) lean programs, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices on the shop floor.</strong></h4> <h4><strong>As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will take a hands-on approach to implement lean methodologies and foster operational excellence. You will execute the MRB/NCM program in alignment with established procedures and work instructions (WI). Key responsibilities include material pick-up and disposition, SAP tag completion, and compliance with standards outlined in linked procedures and WI.</strong></h4> <h4><strong>If you are detail-oriented, passionate about process improvement, and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.</strong></h4> <hr> <ul> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Execute lean program tools and support LPS initiatives.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Assist Lean Coach and Associate Lean Coach with assignments.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Conduct LPS audits, periodic job observations, and investigate findings.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Perform and support departmental Gemba walks.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Collaborate with Operational Excellence team to implement continuous improvement solutions.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Actively participate in training processes, including self-training.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Serve as a role model for all LPS and safety standards.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Support production teams on the shop floor to ensure adherence to LPS principles.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Participate in problem-solving projects (Kaizen) and cross-functional efforts.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Execute NCM management activities per procedure, including MRB walks/huddles.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Manage SAP quality notifications and material disposal.</strong></h4> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"> <h4><strong>Maintain storage bin accuracy at 90% or above.</strong></h4> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <h4 id="qualifications">Qualifications</h4> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).</li> <li>Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.</li> <li>Skilled at building and maintaining relationships across all organizational levels.</li> <li>Flexible and able to shift priorities based on business needs.</li> </ul> <hr> <h4 id="scope">Scope</h4> <ul> <li>Reports to Operational Excellence Lean Coach or Associate Lean Coach.</li> <li>Assigned to a single shop to foster strong engagement with production and support teams.</li> <li>Responsible for physical and systematic non-conforming material management per standards and procedures</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
