About the Role

<h3>Introduction  </h3> Are you a curious and creative individual studying mechanical engineering and looking to develop your skills? Do you have a passion for understanding technology and enjoy working through challenging problems using a methodical approach? Would you like to contribute to a variety of projects for clients across Industrial, Consumer, Energy, and Defence industries?  Successful candidates can join us on a 6 or 12 month industrial placement.  There is no deadline for this role, as we recruit on a rolling basis. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.    <h3>Your role </h3> The Mechanics and Design Department undertakes the development of innovative devices and equipment from concept to manufacture whilst overcoming considerable technical and design problems.   We combine user centred design, innovative mechanical engineering, a rigorous systematic approach to problem solving and a broad base of industry experience to form a powerful development team. Together, we form a dynamic and supportive development team.
