Job Description
We are looking for an ARAMCO Approved RTFI Inspector who can perform the following:
- Film Interpretation: Interpret and evaluate radiographic films (RT films) of welds and materials to detect defects such as cracks, porosity, incomplete fusion, and other structural issues in accordance with relevant codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, API) and client specifications.
- Documentation Review: Review all Radiographic Testing (RT) reports before final signature, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality control procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed RT reports, assessment sheets, and film packages for submission to clients or governing authorities.
- Repair Coordination: Provide details to data operators and QC Supervisors regarding any necessary repairs based on the interpretation results and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Compliance: Ensure all inspection activities comply with the highest level of safety standards and project-specific statutory requirements.
- Coordination: Coordinate with NDT coordinators, QC supervisors, and third-party inspection agencies regarding inspection schedules and results.
- Material Verification: Verify material test reports (MTRs) and ensure incoming materials and consumables meet project specifications.
Qualifications
Hold Degree / Diploma in Engineering or approved equivalent.
Certification in ASNT ACCP Level III or CSWIP/PCN Level II in RTFI along with 5 years experience post certification relevant to Oil & Gas Industry.
ARAMCO Approval in RTFI is mandatory.
