Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an opportunity for a Inside Parts Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Inside Parts Sales Associate will offer the region our comprehensive sales and service network supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators; offering our services to the largest on-highway heavy duty parts network in New England.

• Hourly pay: starting at $21.80 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle incoming parts requests for both retail customers as well as technicians
• Promptly and professionally greet customers in person and over the phone
• Ensure accurate and appropriate inventory and billing controls through transactions
• Provide customers with accurate parts lookup and recommendations based on their described needs
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times

Qualifications

• Parts Experience needed - Heavy Duty Experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, capability of lifting/moving up to 60 lbs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Must Have Valid State Driver License
• Clean Driving Record
• Understanding of the Automotive or Heavy Duty-Truck industry
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, walk and climb
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Able to to maintain sitting positions throughout the work day
• Frequent moving of equipment and lifting of parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
