<p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a skilled Construction License Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s roofing and general contractor licensing requirements and supporting compliance activities. This role serves as the designated license holder for the organization and ensures that all state, county and municipal licensing, permitting, and regulatory obligations are met in accordance with state and local laws. The position works closely with leadership and administrative staff to ensure that the company maintains its ability to legally operate and perform roofing and contractor services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a strong understanding of regulatory processes.</p>
<p><strong>Onsite – Oconomowoc, WI. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits – Base compensation plus full suite of benefits (health, dental, 401K, etc). </strong></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the official license holder and/or qualifier recognized by applicable state and local regulatory authorities.</li>
<li>Maintain active roofing and/or general contractor licenses and ensure compliance with all associated requirements.</li>
<li>Coordinate, complete, and maintain documentation for licensing examinations, renewals, continuing education, and related obligations.</li>
<li>Support compliance with state building codes, safety regulations, and workmanship standards.</li>
<li>Participate in audits, inspections, regulatory inquiries, or legal matters requiring license holder involvement.</li>
<li>Monitor changes to licensing laws, regulations, and code requirements at the local, state and federal levels.</li>
<li>Communicate relevant updates regarding changes on laws, codes and permitting processes to leadership and relevant internal teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal administrative personnel to ensure permits, insurance certificates, contracts, and related documents are accurate, complete, and properly filed.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, inspectors, and legal representatives on matters related to licensure.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Background in the construction or roofing industry.</li>
<li>Experience working directly with regulatory or permitting agencies.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with contractor licensing, regulatory compliance, or related administrative functions.</li>
<li>Travel to states where Stronghouse operates to meet license requirements and inspection requirements for permitting.</li>
<li>Attend necessary continuing education courses, examinations, and in-person application appointments for required company licenses.</li>
<li>Licensing knowledge: Demonstrated, in-depth understanding of state and local roofing or construction regulations.</li>
<li>High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines, jurisdictions, and documentation simultaneously.</li>
