We are looking for an experienced STMS - Site Traffic Management Supervisor to join our Traffic Management team based in Napier. You will be part of a crew overseeing traffic operations related to projects such as maintenance, construction, surfacing and civil works. You will ensure the safety of all staff, clients and the public.

In addition to the above you will:

• Supervise and provide STMS support to the crew

• Read and implement the TTM Plans onsite

• Liaise with stakeholders e.g. Engineers, TMP Designers, Project Managers to ensure quality and accurate TTM layouts

• Complete site setups

• Conduct general TTM duties to ensure timely layout of TTM

• Manage multiple TTM sites

• Mentor fellow workmates with TTM

• Manage resources, including people and TTM equipment

• Provide excellent customer service and communication to the public

We're looking for someone with:

• Minimum Class 1 full licence, class 2 would be preferable

• Must have Level 1 STMS qualification with a minimum of one years’ experience as an STMS

• Ability to lead set up of temporary sites to provide a safe work environment for workers and the Public alike

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clear expectations to your team with regards to TTM

• Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction

• Attention to detail alongside reactive and sharp problem-solving skills

• Ability to use IT devices, iPad/iPhone

• Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public and yourself
