As a Sales Agent, you will conduct outbound calls to life-insurance leads using the client's system (script, CRM, dialer) to educate prospective clients, understand their needs, and help them secure policies that protect what matters most. You are not just “selling”; you’re providing financial education and meaningful solutions that empower families.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates, and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to leads.
Use the company-provided script, CRM, and dialer to manage and track lead engagement.
Build rapport with prospects by actively listening, asking questions, and tailoring conversations to their needs.
Book appointments (virtual or phone), send quotes, and follow up to close sales.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM, including notes on call outcomes, policy details, and next steps.
Meet (or exceed) sales targets and performance metrics (e.g., number of calls, appointments set, policies sold).
Participate in regular training sessions (product, sales techniques, compliance).
Continuously build and nurture your pipeline to generate referrals and retention (renewals).
Requirements
Sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or outbound telesales
Cold-calling experience – comfortable making high volume outbound calls
Customer service skills – ability to empathize, listen, and communicate clearly
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient under rejection
Ability to use (or learn quickly) a CRM and dialer system
Basic computer skills and comfort working remotely
