In concentrating the practice on the representation of large national mortgage servicing entities, McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce has earned a reputation as a leader in the residential mortgage default industry, working in tandem with its clients to minimize losses.
About the Role

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our firm. Multiple opportunities are available within our New Jersey and Pennsylvania Foreclosure groups for qualified candidates with experience or interest in foreclosure, legal services, or administrative support.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents
  • Managing foreclosure files and tracking case progress
  • Communicating with clients, courts, vendors and other outside parties in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Data entry, document processing, and file maintenance
  • Supporting attorneys and other team members with daily tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed
  • Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients.
  • Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all client systems.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a legal, real estate, or financial services setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and discretion

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job does not require supervisory responsibilities.


EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; preferably an associate’s degree in legal services or finance.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience preferred but the right candidate with less experience may be considered.
  • Title review experience a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrower, clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties.
  • Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
  • Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in internet research activities.
  • Familiarity with case and document management software
  • Experience with client systems such as Loansphere, Lenstar, Clairfire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure preferred.
  • Experience with review of title reports and identifying chain of title issues is a plus
  • Ability to proficiently operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone is required.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
