We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Identity Management team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a senior business analyst and assist on client engagements in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing identity management processes and systems to enhance security, efficiency, and user experience. This role is perfect for someone eager to start their career in business analysis within the cybersecurity domain.
What you will do
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to identity management.
- Analyze existing identity management processes and identify areas for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams.
- Develop user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for identity management solutions.
- Prepare regular status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for stakeholders.
Solution Development Support:
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Participate in the testing and validation of identity management solutions, including writing test cases and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
Knowledge of Identity Access Management:
- Understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SSO, LDAP, MFA, OAuth, SAML).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the coordination of identity management projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end-users for identity management systems and processes.
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for users.
Research and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to research and understand complex technical concepts and convey them in a user-friendly manner.
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps in existing documentation and address them effectively.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers.
Attention to Detail:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Ability to proofread and edit documentation for clarity, grammar, and formatting.

What you bring to the role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, working in a professional environment and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong independent decision-making skills: an ability to work with limited information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Basic understanding of identity management principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
