About the Role

The Quality Assurance Manager serves as the organization’s Management Representative for Quality and acts as the primary authority on all matters related to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role includes direct access to senior leadership, including the CEO, and is responsible for ensuring that all quality processes are properly established, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. The position requires strong expertise in defense-industry quality standards, supplier auditing, and internal quality governance.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company’s Management Representative for Quality with direct access to senior leadership on all quality-related matters.
  • Ensure the preparation, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Report to senior management on QMS performance and identify needs for improvement.
  • Promote company-wide awareness of customer requirements and ensure compliance with them.
  • Perform supplier audits in accordance with the company’s quality requirements; authorize approval or disqualification of suppliers based on quality criteria.
  • Represent the company in all external quality-related interactions (suppliers, customers, certification bodies, authorities, etc.).
  • Lead the development, writing, revision, and maintenance of company quality procedures.
  • Oversee procedural implementation and conduct employee training on quality topics.
  • Identify quality non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Manage and execute internal audits, customer satisfaction monitoring, and management review activities.
  • Monitor and analyze quality-related data and present findings during management reviews.
  • Establish measurable quality objectives and ensure effective tracking and achievement.
  • Oversee incoming quality control for purchased items and ensure proper acceptance processes.
  • Manage the company’s quality personnel, including employees with delegated authority.



Requirements


  • At least five years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Engineer in a defense-industry company.
  • Formal education in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering & Management.
  • Strong familiarity with aerospace quality standards, such as AS9100.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing a Quality Management System in a defense organization.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Very high level of English (spoken and written).
