<p>Position Description : Consulting Associate (Defense, Security, and Government Programs) Location : Gulf Region (in-country based) Reports to : Project Lead / Program Director Overview Command Group is seeking highly motivated, analytical, and adaptable professionals to join its expanding portfolio of defense, security, and government transformation projects across the Gulf region .</p><p>Our projects support senior government and institutional clients on strategic planning, organizational transformation, capability development, and national resilience.</p><p>Consulting Associates will play a key role in helping deliver these programs-conducting analysis, working with expert teams to shape strategies, and producing high-quality deliverables that inform leadership decisions at the highest levels.</p><p>Ideal candidates bring a mix of intellectual curiosity, consulting discipline, and creative storytelling ability-able to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling, and visually engaging outputs.</p><p>Key Responsibilities Strategic Analysis &amp; Research Conduct structured research and analysis on defense, security, governance, and institutional topics.</p><p>Develop frameworks, models, and scenario analyses that inform client strategy and decision-making.</p><p>Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights.</p><p>Consulting &amp; Problem Solving Support the design and implementation of transformation programs, strategic plans, and capability roadmaps.</p><p>Work collaboratively with client teams to identify challenges, test hypotheses, and develop practical solutions.</p><p>Translate high-level objectives into executable workplans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.</p><p>Deliverable Production &amp; Storytelling Lead or contribute to the creation of thoughtful, visually rich deliverables -executive reports, briefings, dashboards, and presentations that combine substance with clarity and design excellence.</p><p>Structure and synthesize complex content into logical storylines for senior stakeholders.</p><p>Collaborate with design, writing, and subject-matter experts to ensure coherence and impact.</p><p>Collaboration &amp; Client Engagement Work alongside international consulting teams, client counterparts, and regional partners across multiple workstreams.</p><p>Participate in workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings.</p><p>Contribute to an inclusive, cross-cultural team culture focused on results, integrity, and shared purpose.</p><p>Delivery &amp; Quality Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables, ensuring rigor, accuracy, and timeliness.</p><p>Proactively identify ways to improve products, processes, and client communications.</p><p>Uphold Command's standards of professionalism, discretion, and excellence in every aspect of delivery.</p><p>Qualifications &amp; Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, international relations, public policy, economics, security studies, or related disciplines.</p><p>3-8 years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategic analysis, policy development, or program delivery .</p><p>Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills with the ability to produce structured, polished deliverables.</p><p>Proficiency in creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations and reports that integrate visual and narrative storytelling.</p><p>Experience working with or advising public-sector, defense, or institutional clients preferred.</p><p>Prior international or Gulf-region experience is an advantage but not required.</p><p>Competencies Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</p><p>Excellent communicator and storyteller-able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.</p><p>Highly collaborative and culturally adaptable.</p><p>Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high-quality outcomes.</p><p>Professional integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in sensitive environments.</p><p>Term and Location Base : Abu Dhabi or Dubai Travel : Regional or international travel as required for client engagements</p>
