You'll work as part of our London Design Office and collaborate closely with teams across the UK, US, and China to bring concepts to life and into the hands of consumers.</p> <p>You'll combine creativity with engineering rigor, developing mechanical systems and product solutions that delight consumers and perform brilliantly.</p> <p> </p> <strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong> <ul> <li>Developing and shaping new product concepts and technologies for future Ninja launches.</li> <li>Designing components, assemblies, and mechanisms that meet functional, cost, and manufacturing requirements.</li> <li>Taking ownership of product elements from concept, CAD modelling, and prototyping through to testing and validation.</li> <li>Conducting design studies to solve real technical and consumer problems.</li> <li>Applying solid engineering fundamentals to ensure designs are robust, reliable, and ready for mass production.</li> <li>Building and testing prototypes, analyzing results, and iterating quickly.</li> <li>Working closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is protected through tool release and manufacturing.</li> <li>Participating in design reviews - contributing ideas, insights, and solutions.</li> <li>Continuously improving performance, quality, and overall consumer value.</li> <li>Supporting and collaborating with senior engineers, contributing to a strong, hands-on, problem-solving culture.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <strong>What You'll Bring</strong> <ul> <li>Degree in <strong>Product Design Engineering</strong>, <strong>Mechanical Engineering</strong>, or <strong>Industrial Design Engineering</strong>.</li> <li>Typically <strong>2-4 years' experience</strong> in mechanical or product design.</li> <li>Experience in <strong>consumer goods</strong> or <strong>household appliances</strong> is highly desirable.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>plastics</strong> and <strong>manufacturing processes</strong>.</li> <li>A track record of contributing to products that have launched in market.</li> <li>High proficiency in <strong>SolidWorks</strong> or <strong>Creo</strong>.</li> <li>Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving mindset.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaborative working style.</li> <li>Positive, curious, and proactive approach to challenges.</li> <li>An appreciation for <strong>electronics, software, or UX</strong> is beneficial, but not essential.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong> Our Culture </strong></p> <p> At SharkNinja, we don't just raise the bar-we push past it every single day. <strong> Our Outrageously Extraordinary mindset </strong> drives us to tackle the impossible, push boundaries, and deliver results that others only dream of.
