About the Role

We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia.

In this critical role, you will be an integral part of our cutting-edge technology team, focusing on the rigorous testing and quality assurance of advanced video compression software and cloud services. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience for our sophisticated technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail to drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

You will be responsible for:

Participation in testing of compression software and cloud services
Design, develop and execute automation scripts
Analysis of visual quality, performance, efficiency and other aspects of video compression software and cloud services
Manual and automated testing in accordance with provided test-plans
Reporting test status analysis and results
Identify, record, document and thoroughly track issues in bug tracking systems

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related subject
Proven work experience in QA at least 3+ years
Hands-on experience in writing automation scripts
Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python, Perl, C, C++ and so on
Advanced computer user with knowledge of different operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
Ability to work with command line interface tools including simple shell scripting (cmd, bash, FAR, Total Commander, etc.)
Knowledge of software development fundamentals
English on Intermediate or higher level
Ability to meet deadlines, priorities and commitments
Must be very organized; strong attention to detail
Сommunication skills, good team player

Strong plus will be:

In-depth knowledge of video coding principles and extensive experience with video compression technologies
Familiarity with professional video codecs like FFMPEG, x264/x265
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Advanced skills in Selenium and UI test automation techniques
