The Opportunity

As Senior Leader, Customer Retention, you’ll own the strategy that keeps our residential customers engaged and committed. Your leadership will help us deliver outstanding experiences and support Britain’s journey to net zero.

Alongside a negotiable salary depending on experience and potential for an annual bonus, this is a home-based role with flexibility to work from any location.

You’ll lead a team of marketing specialists and manage a £2m annual budget, driving retention across a portfolio of 3 million customer accounts worth around £5bn. From insight-led campaigns to operational excellence, you’ll collaborate across EDF Retail and with external partners to deliver compliant, inclusive, and effective communications.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Senior Leader who thrives on creativity and collaboration. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Proven leadership experience in B2C marketing communications within energy, utilities or other regulated sectors
  • Expertise in retention strategies and campaign delivery across digital channels
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and customer-centric messaging
  • Experience managing teams and third-party partners
  • Commercial acumen with budget ownership and performance accountability

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and implementing retention marketing strategies
  • Leading end-to-end campaign planning and delivery across SMS, email and digital
  • Managing creative development and content oversight
  • Driving KPIs including churn reduction, engagement and campaign effectiveness
  • Overseeing budget allocation and ROI analysis
