About the Role

Cadden Community Management is hiring a Finance Department Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations for 200+ community associations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, accurate, and confident in leading a team. If you enjoy structured work, problem-solving, and improving financial processes, this role is an excellent fit.

  

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise accounting staff (Bookkeepers, AR/AP, Resale, Collections)

· Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations

· Review and approve financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance

· Maintain internal controls, workflows, and fiscal procedures

· Provide technical training, coaching, and quality oversight

· Troubleshoot accounting issues and resolve discrepancies

· Collaborate with banks, auditors, CPA firms, and software providers

· Ensure deadlines are met and financial packages are completed accurately

Qualifications

· 3–5 years of accounting experience (AP/AR, GL, financial reporting)

· Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred

· Strong Excel and accounting software skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (not required)

· HOA or property management accounting experience a plus

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.

Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

Candidate must possess a minimum of two years’, excellent written and oral communication skills; a high degree of professionalism; excellent computer skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or finance. 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

None required for this position.

Salary

Starting at $55,000
