About the Role

Welcome to Love's! We are looking for an Automation Engineer I to join us onsite in Oklahoma City, OK and assist with process automation solution analysis and development. This role supports documentation and re-engineering legacy processes, as well as developing and maintaining customer automation solutions within the company’s automation environment. The Automation Engineer ensures cost-effective automation by coordinating technical requirements, design, and integration with other technologies. *Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. BASIC PURPOSE: The Automation Engineer position is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining automation solutions within the Company’s Test Automation environment. This position will involve collaborating as part of a team on the design and implementation of automation objects to meet the requirements of multiple business units.

Job Functions:

  • Write efficient, maintainable and reliable automation scripts
  • Design and build modular and scalable test automation frameworks
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various software applications (SAP, Web, Mobile, etc.)
  • Regularly review and update automated test scripts to accommodate changes in software requirements, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Analyze software requirements
  • Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or related field required.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as Automation Engineer or similar role
  • Experience with automation tools like Tricentis Tosca, UiPath or similar
  • Experience with test management tool like ADO, Jira or similar
  • Experience using Agile/scrum methodology
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning algorithms (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and/or Document Understanding/Intelligent Document.

Preferred Experience:

  • Certification in Tricentis Tosca
  • Knowledge in Automation frameworks, TBOX modules, Test Case Design, APIs

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in building, testing, and supporting basic software solutions
  • Understanding of object-oriented design principles
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques
  • Ability to work independently on complex development objects
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
