About the Role

Partners with appropriate stakeholders including Program Management and Design to determine user requirements for complex, end-to-end features. Provides hands-on technical leadership for architecture, design, code reviews, development, and quality assurance for scalable, production-quality services. Leads by example and mentors others to produce simple, extensible, and maintainable code with very few defects. Leverages deep subject-matter expertise of cross-product features to lead project plans, release plans, and work items. Holds accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products, working on-call to monitor and analyze services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, and performance of our products. Fosters a culture of inclusivity and disciplined software engineering practices to deliver business value, guided by data. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 2+ year's experience in frontend development technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience applying Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), or AI techniques to drive product growth. Experience with large-scale data technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Big Data).
