About the Role
Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the Email Orchestrator platform. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, service owners, and SREs to define and deliver high-impact features. Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring junior engineers. Own service health and live site operations, including deployment automation and telemetry-driven diagnostics. Contribute to long-term vision and roadmap for the Email Orchestrator service, aligning with broader organizational goals. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, and operating mission-critical cloud services at scale. Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Solid grasp of distributed systems fundamentals (scalability, resilience, consistency), data structures/algorithms, and secure coding practices. Experience in cutting-edge deployment automation, observability tooling, and live site engineering practices. Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, well tested code and operate distributed services in production. Experience with email infrastructure, messaging systems, or orchestration frameworks. Experience leading a team and mentoring engineers. Familiarity with deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and telemetry-driven diagnostics. Demonstrated leadership in driving technical initiatives and mentoring engineers. Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance engineering effectiveness, coupled with a strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
