About the Role

Okoora is building the global category of Embedded FX Infrastructure. Our platform powers multi-currency operations for businesses, platforms, PSPs, ERPs, and financial systems worldwide. As we scale, revenue accuracy, consumption-based billing, and financial infrastructure integrity are becoming mission-critical.

We are looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Finance team and take full ownership of Okoora’s revenue engine. This is a high-impact role at the center of Finance, Product, Engineering, and Data.

About the Role

The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end revenue processes
  • Implementing the company’s consumption-based pricing model
  • Ensuring accurate, compliant revenue recognition under IFRS 15
  • Maintaining Okoora’s pricebook and billing logic
  • Working directly with Product and Engineering to translate usage data into revenue
  • Leading revenue reporting, reconciliation, and audit readiness
  • Designing, monitoring, and improving billing accuracy and controls

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and accounting backgrounds who thrives in a high-growth, infrastructure-driven environment.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Own monthly revenue close, reporting, and variance analysis (all group entities)
  • Maintain accurate billing based on usage, consumption events, and pricing modifiers
  • Responsible on Revenues collections from customers, including optimization of processes and Collection reporting. Reconciliation with customers accounting.
  • Involve in building and manage revenue recognition policies in accordance with IFRS
  • Review and validate usage data from product systems and engineering logs
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to improve metering and billing
  • Ensure alignment between customer contracts, pricing tiers, and billing outputs, responsible on finance aspects related to new customers onboarding.
  • Support annual audits and prepare revenue memos and documentation
  • Develop scalable processes and controls for high-volume, multi-tenant environments
  • Partner with Finance leadership to support forecasting and ARR analysis

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Revenue Accounting or Revenue Operations
  • Background in Fintech, SaaS, or usage-based billing models
  • High proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/BI tools is an advantage
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams
  • Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Preferred:

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Experience with financial infrastructure, billing engines, or API-driven metering
