Job Description

  • Oversee Thai kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality, authentic Thai dishes with consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.

  • Manage food stock, market lists, and inventory, ensuring all essential Thai ingredients are available and stored hygienically.

  • Monitor food cost and maintain budgets, controlling waste and maximizing efficiency in daily operations.

  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, maintaining discipline, productivity, and high standards of hygiene and safety.

  • Ensure strict HACCP compliance, proper handling of ingredients, and adherence to all hotel food safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Collaborate with culinary leaders and supporting departments, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, equipment safety, and effective crisis management procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Primary school education
  • Additional certification(s) from a reputable Culinary school will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
