We partner across the entire organization – from Engineering and Product to Operations, Finance, Sales, HR, and the Executive team – to understand needs, identify opportunities, and deliver AI-powered solutions that meaningfully transform the way we work.</p> <p>This team supports MongoDB’s company mission by enabling internal teams to work smarter, reduce manual effort, and focus on strategic, high-impact work.</p> <p>As an Internal AI Product Management Intern, you’ll help drive AI adoption across the company by mapping needs across departments, identifying the highest-value opportunities, and partnering with engineers to deliver safe and effective AI tools. You may be&nbsp; involved in evaluating AI use cases, establishing standards for internal AI products, analyzing workflow challenges, and supporting strategic decision-making.</p> <p>This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who enjoys thinking critically about how AI transforms work, and wants experience operating at the intersection of AI, data, product, and people.</p> <p><strong>What we are looking for in you</strong><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li>Has hands-on exposure to AI tools, models, or workflows (coursework, personal projects, agents, LLM integrations, etc.)</li> <li>Thinks critically about AI—its value, its risks, and how to implement it responsibly.</li> <li>Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li> <li>Communicates clearly, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Learns quickly and enjoys navigating ambiguity.</li> <li>Works collaboratively and thrives in cross-functional environments.</li> <li>Experience with Python, R or any programming language.</li> <li>Experience that’s nice to have includes: <ul> <li>Understanding of basic database structures and fundamentals.</li> <li>Familiarity with using AI tools in workflows (automations, agents, copilots, prompt engineering, etc.)</li> <li>Exposure to product management, AI evals, system design, or technical discovery work.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
