Bookkeeper – Multi-Location Medical Practice | Remote | Immediate Start_

Role Name: Bookkeeper

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)

M-F 8-5 PST (with time for lunch) - 8 hours per day.

Client Timezone: Pacific Time (California)




Healthcare Receptionist/Virtual Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Handle patient communications including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment coordination
  • Provide professional customer service for patient inquiries and support
  • Make outbound calls to patients for various administrative needs
  • Process supply orders including scrubs for new technicians and office supplies
  • Coordinate food orders for client meetings and special events
  • Manage calendar scheduling and administrative coordination
  • Assist with insurance verification and submission processes
  • Handle general administrative tasks and office support as needed
  • Support multiple practice locations with various operational needs
  • Maintain professional communication standards with patients, attorneys, and insurance companies

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service background with healthcare experience required
  • Excellent English communication skills with minimal accent
  • Experience in medical or healthcare administrative roles
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
  • Professional phone manner and patient interaction skills
  • Experience with insurance verification and healthcare billing processes
  • Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to patient privacy
