We’re looking for capable and experienced Storepersons to join our team, ensuring Defence personnel receive the vital equipment, supplies, and materials they need – when and where they need them.

How you’ll make the right impact 

As a Storeperson, you’ll bring advanced warehousing knowledge and proven skills to support site operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will: 

• Oversee quality control standards across warehouse operations. 

• Perform warehousing and stores duties with minimal supervision. 

• Operate forklifts, material handling equipment, and Commonwealth vehicles (where licensed). 

• Use warehouse systems to manage complex reporting and stock control. 

• Lead and coordinate work for small teams (up to 10 staff). 

• Undertake specialist tasks including stocktake discrepancy investigations, dangerous goods handling, or armoury / secure cage operations (requiring additional security clearances and/or training qualifications). 

• Maintain safety, compliance, and efficiency across all warehouse activities. 

What you’ll bring 

We’re looking for motivated individuals who bring: 

• Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries. 

• Advanced interpersonal, communication, and IT skills. 

• A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one). 

• A valid driver’s licence (C class, with MR/HR/HC/MC desirable). 

• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks. 

• Strong teamwork, leadership, and attention to detail. 

• A safety-first mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Eligibility to make the grade 

To apply for this role, you must: 

• Be an Australian Citizen. 

• Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role – NV1/NV2 required for certain tasks). 

• Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
