MSP Activities: 

Reporting to the LND8710 Principal Engineer, the LND8710 Engineering Managers and the LND8710 Project Managers, the LND8710 Test and Evaluation Manager activities include:

• Perform the function of the Project Test and Evaluation subject matter expert; 
• Development of appropriate engineering and technical documentation and activities executed in accordance with relevant legislation, doctrine, policies and standards, which will support the LND8710 Program’s outcomes; 
• Obtain and exercise a Delegated Technical Authority; and 
• Development of subordinate staff knowledge and skills within the Engineering Services team to ensure knowledge and know-how within the LND8710 Program.

MSP Outcomes:

The LND8710 Test and Evaluation Manager will be accountable to deliver the outcomes: 

• Manage the LND8710 Program Test and Evaluation Plans, and Chair the Test and Evaluation Working Group; 
• Review, comment and approval of engineering deliverables in line with the contracted timeframes; 
• Achievement of technical milestones defined in the Shipbuilding contract; and 
• Reporting of technical, environmental and safety risks.
