About the Role
As a Material Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for material flow, ensuring uninterrupted production in our manufacturing cells. Your responsibilities will include: Maintain inventory accuracy and manage material replenishment based on Planner/Buyer setup. Perform and record cycle counts in Oracle; investigate and reconcile discrepancies. Prepare and present materials for production, ensuring they are ready for optimal use. Move materials between receiving, factory floor, and distribution center using a pallet jack. Expedite internal material requirements and transfer inventory across multiple locations, including MRB. Collect, analyze, and report production data; perform basic counting, sorting, labeling, and packaging tasks. Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives. Support material planning, policy deployment, and execution. 1-2 years of experience in material coordination, inventory management, or a related role. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and data analysis. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in Lean or continuous improvement environments. Familiarity with Kanban systems and material execution processes. Hands-on experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
