Project Assistant II (carrying the job title of ‘Senior Communications and Public Relations Assistant’)
The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing and implementing an integrated communications and content strategy to strengthen the College's brand identity, enhance its digital presence, drive engagement, and support broader marketing initiatives; (b) working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to create compelling multimedia content tailored for various digital and social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and YouTube); (c) supporting the planning, execution, and promotion of College events by coordinating with different parties to procure and manage event materials; (d) contributing to the development of communication collaterals, including brochures, newsletters, and digital assets; (e) supporting and coordinating student experiential learning programmes; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned.
Applicants should be/have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or relevant disciplines; (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English word-processing skill; (iv) at least 1 year of experience managing social media or creating content; (v) proficient in Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, YouTube, and basic design/video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut); (vi) a strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); and (vii) detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently or with a team.
Applicants must submit copies of HKCEE/HKDSE certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and/or academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
