The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of CUHK is a leading school of public health in the Asia-Pacific region, committed to excellence in education and research in public health and family medicine that impact society and the profession, with an extensive international partner network. The appointee will work closely with the Programme Directors and the Administration Head, and play a vital role to ensure the effective management and development of self-financed programmes in the School. Duties include (a) acting as the line supervisor of the self-financed programme team; (b) managing and organising the delivery of self-financed programmes (Taught Postgraduate Programmes and professional programmes) and seminars; (c) planning, developing and marketing programmes/ courses, and student and alumni activities; (d) providing support to students on programmes/ courses and related enquiries; (e) providing administrative support to Programme Directors/ divisions; (f) assisting in the budget planning and financial reporting of the programmes; and (g) performing committee work and other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience in programme administration and promotion, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills; (vi) strong adaptability and leadership skills; (vii) the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and pressure; (viii) an outgoing, positive and can-do work attitude; and (ix) a high level of computer literacy. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
