About the Role

Department of Clinical Oncology
Project Co-ordinator II

The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and be responsible to (a) ensuring the existing AI algorithms are functioning correctly with appropriate configurations; (b) developing and implementing code to enhance AI algorithms, including writing scripts and perform programming for data processing, model training and validation; (c) reviewing regularly, verifying the accuracy of outputs generated by AI systems and improving the efficiency; (d) working closely with the study team as well as collaborators to integrate improvements and ensure clinical applicability; and (e) maintaining comprehensive records of configurations, changes and performance metrics to track progress.

 

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) knowledge of the medical sciences (e.g. clinical research); (iii) experience in working with patients; (iv) experience in handling blood or tissue samples in laboratory settings; (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); (vi) proficiency in computer skills; (vii) a pleasant and mature work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility; and (viii) the ability to work independently.

 

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
