Our mission is to promote excellence and efficiency in healthcare through our MYLE and PLEXIA electronic medical records. MEDFAR leverages healthcare experience, research, and passion with the latest cloud-based technology to offer medical practices comprehensive and easy-to-use clinical management systems. Our EMR solutions, MYLE and PLEXIA, are built with physicians in mind. MEDFAR R&D is performed in partnership with doctors and healthcare administration, and is driven by our clients' needs. The MYLE EMR, tailored to general practitioners, and the PLEXIA EMR, tailored to specialists, allow physicians to focus on a richer patient-physician relationship by simplifying the clerical and administrative duties of daily medical practice. With MYLE and PLEXIA, it’s easy to see all of the patient’s files and data in one intuitive platform, providing medical professionals fast access to a complete profile to make better informed, safer care decisions.
About the Role

Company Description

MEDFAR Clinical Solutions was founded in 2010 by two aeronautical engineers who realized that the healthcare system was not exploiting the full potential of technology. Supported by a large community of medical experts and focused on clinical success and patient safety, MEDFAR was the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record in Canada: MYLE (Make Your Life Easy).

Committed to promoting excellence and effectiveness in healthcare worldwide, MEDFAR differentiates itself by offering a unique healthcare management solution for clinics, which replaces inefficient processes with a faster and safer technological alternative.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead our next wave of growth in Ontario. You are a seasoned SaaS sales professional with both strategic hunting skills and an established network in the healthcare ecosystem, particularly among clinics, group practices, and regional health partners.
This is not an entry-level SDR position. It’s an opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a key role in expanding our footprint in Ontario, and grow into a management role as market traction expands.

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and engage new prospects across assigned territories.
  • Leverage your existing network to initiate and accelerate new opportunities.
  • Manage contract negotiation
  • Book high-quality group demos and introductory meetings with family physicians and clinic leaders.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to orchestrate high-impact group demos and secure actionable next steps, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain consistent activity volume (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events) while focusing on conversion quality.
  • Represent the company at regional healthcare events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Use Salesforce and integrated tools to track outreach activities, opportunities, and demo bookings.
  • Support continuous feedback loops with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market approaches.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in SaaS sales (preferably health technology, digital health, or EMR-adjacent solutions).
  • Proven prospecting and outreach skills, with consistent demo-booking or pipeline-generation success.
  • Based in Toronto, York, or Durham regions.
  • Frequent travel availability (regional and interprovincial).
  • Strong healthcare network and relationships with clinics, physicians, or healthcareorganizations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and CRM discipline.
  • A motivated, autonomous professional seeking career growth toward sales management within 2–5 years.

Additional Information

By joining MEDFAR, you will be part of a purpose-driven organization whose product is disrupting and digitizing health care, making doctors’ and healthcare workers’ lives easier, while enabling better patient health outcomes. Becoming a MEDFARian also means having the opportunity to be part of an innovative community and working in a dynamic environment where your work will have a meaningful and tangible effect not only on your team and the business but most importantly on the healthcare industry.

  • Flexible hours (work-life balance)
  • Generous group insurance coverage as of day 1 of employment
  • Break paid between Christmas and New Years
  • Annual $ 1,500 training allowance for your professional development
