<p>Medical Assistants play a key role in delivering medical care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring seamless operations at the facility. </p>
<p><strong>Address:</strong> 1990 Woodbourne Rd A, Langhorne, PA 19047</p>
<p><strong>Shift:</strong> 3:00pm - 11:00pm</p>
<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $16/hr plus shift differentials</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Answer phone calls and complete documentation and filing to support medical staff.</li>
<li>Complete medical records accurately and timely.</li>
<li>Assist with the admissions and consent process for clients, and provide ongoing support during medical appointments.</li>
<li>Obtain and document vital signs and urine screens for medical team review.</li>
<li>Complete lab requisitions upon admission and as needed; monitor outcomes and review with the medical team.</li>
<li>Create and distribute client packets.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe physical environment for all clients.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients; communicate and document changes in client status effectively.</li>
<li>Support prior authorization and medication ordering processes as needed.</li>
<li>Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals for clients as directed by the medical team.</li>
<li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Medical Assistant degree/certification or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health settings is preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations and applicable laws/regulations, DDAP, CARF.</li>
<li>General office skills and organizational ability.</li>
