We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - AnalyticsIn this role, you will:<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Extract, transform, and load (ETL) from various sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity. Design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data extraction, storage, and processing.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Extract and integrate data from external sources, such as public databases, social media platforms and third-party vendors to enhance advanced analytics capabilities.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Conduct in-depth analysis of complex transactional and demographic datasets to identify patterns for identifying risk and opportunities.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Develop innovative and impactful data-based tools and models for propensity modeling and risk mitigation, continuously evaluate the effectiveness of models and make recommendations for improvements.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Engage various stakeholders to understand and collect project requirement, present analysis and or results, make recommendations on strategy formulation and solicit project feedback.</li></ul>To be successful you will:<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Proficiency in using Python, SQL, or similar analytically oriented programming languages.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Extensive technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures both structured and unstructured and common methods in data transformation.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Knowledge and good experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense will be a strong plus.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Keeping up to date on the latest advanced analytics and big data technologies. Engage with academia on shared research topics related to new trends in advanced analytics.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Experience in working with complex multi-layered datasets, imbalanced datasets, and unstructured data.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Experience with ML deployment strategies using micro services, Cloud Platforms.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">ML-OPS experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines, feature engineering ETLs, designing feature stores and understanding mechanisms of deployment across various environments.</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14.0pt;">Experience in translating ML based outcomes to business-digestible insights.</li></ul>You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
