Job Description
The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations, assigns tasks to technicians, and ensures preventive and corrective work is completed to standard. The role supports CAPEX and OPEX planning, cost control, and coordination with procurement and external contractors. Responsibilities include managing work orders, updating engineering systems, maintaining logs, PM reports, AMC files, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor also handles administrative duties such as monthly attendance, overtime, leave records, inventory tracking, duty rosters, and documentation. The position requires effective communication, technical knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and the ability to train, guide, and support the engineering team while ensuring smooth coordination with other departments.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in hospitality.
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, BMS, fire systems).
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and engineering operations.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance systems.
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping skills.
Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed
