Job Summary/Objective

 

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and formatting high-quality documentation, including technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation tailored to client needs. This role will work directly with pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and subject matter experts to articulate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling, and compliant documents. This role is essential to supporting business growth through accurate and competitive proposal content.

The Technical Writer will coordinate multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and content is optimized. They will also work with marketing and business development teams to align tone, branding, and messaging.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement in documentation practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•        Proposals Development

•        Create, edit, and format technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation tailored to client requirements to ensure clarity and persuasiveness

•        Writes and edits technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals

•        Coordinate multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and content is optimized.

•        Work with solution architects, technical consultants, and pre-sales teams to collect technical input and develop customer-facing documentation

•        Ensure that documentations are compliant with relevant regulations of Alnafitha to prevent any discrepancies

•        Documentation Management

•        Build and maintain a centralized library of reusable content, diagrams, boilerplates, and case studies to streamline proposal development and promote consistency

•        Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for proposal development, version control, review workflows, and solution playbooks

•        Ensure all documents are technically accurate, well-structured, and consistent in tone, format, and compliance

•        Document solution workflows, architectural diagrams, and client-specific integrations such as licensing explanations and detailed service descriptions and ensure it follows with company templates and standards

•        Building ProDeploy predefined technical proposals for the recurring solutions in alignment with the internal stakeholders.

·       Assessing RFPs and determining specific requirements through operational analysis initially and before submission.

•        Technical Reporting Accuracy

•        Assesses the audience’s needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding

•        Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information to understand the product/ project well and having the ability to refine words to match the need

•        Translate technical concepts into user-friendly content to ensure reliability and understanding

•        Collaboration and Alignment

•        Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to ensure alignment on tone, branding, and messaging

•        Leverage tools like Zoho Writer for content creation and managing the proposal lifecycle using Zoho CRM and the Zoho Presales Module.

•        Contribute to whitepapers, datasheets, capability statements, and reusable documentation assets



Requirements

Qualifications

˗        Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

˗        Experience: 4-5 years of experience in technical writing or proposal development within the IT services or technology industry.

˗        Understanding of IT domains such as Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, virtualization (VMware/Citrix), and ITSM/ITOM platforms (e.g., ManageEngine).

˗        Exceptional English & Arabic writing and communication skills with attention to technical detail and clarity.

˗        Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Adobe Acrobat, and documentation platforms.

˗        Experience working with Zoho Writer, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Presales Module is highly preferred.

˗        Familiarity with proposal management frameworks (e.g., APMP, Shipley) is an advantage.

˗        Experience with large-scale enterprise RFPs or public sector documentation.

˗        Ability to work independently and across multi-functional teams.

˗        Basic visual editing or diagramming skills (e.g., Canva, Illustrator) are a plus.
