Flavorist Assistant (Contract)

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Assist in creating small experimental flavor samples by following recipes developed by Flavorists.
• Make sure all experimental flavors are ready for evaluation and meet final specifications.
• Adhere strictly to the formulations provided by the Flavorist team.
• Confirm that all required measurements and specifications are accurately recorded.
• Oversee the laboratory’s stock of flavoring raw materials, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Check that all raw materials are within their shelf life to guarantee freshness.
• Ensure only fresh, approved raw materials are used in the preparation of flavors.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Diploma in Science (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or Food Technology)
• At least 1 year of internship experience in the Flavor industry or similar role.
• Knowledge in lab practices, and housekeeping
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Effective communicate skills across all levels of the organization.
• Possess good olfactory and gustatory capability
• Strong numeracy, accurate weighing, and best laboratory practices.
