Description
- Oversees daily shipment activities and monitors timeliness of of shipments for assigned automotive accounts
- Communicates with suppliers, customers, carriers and internal departments
- Manages all incoming calls effectively.
- Initiates outbound calls to carriers and drivers to confirm timely arrivals and communicate any pertinent information or concerns.
- Promptly input shipment updates into multiple systems and conveying information via email.
- Resolve shipments discrepancies in real-time, escalating when necessary to Account Managers
- Remain flexible and adaptable to evolving business requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One (1) year minimum experience with automotive freight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new technology systems quickly
