Our Distribution Centre (DC) in Tullamarine, Melbourne, is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that serves as the core of our operations. Within this hub, our Team Leaders play a vital role as on-floor leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs), managing the daily activities of smaller sub-departmental teams. We’re seeking someone that can work Full-Time, Afternoon Shift.
The Role You Could Play:
Serve as the primary point of contact for our team members, addressing task-related challenges, training new staff, and ensuring resources are effectively allocated in line with daily volume projections.
Maintain a safe work environment and promote a safety-first culture across the DC.
Oversee daily workflows and ensure adherence to operational targets and KPIs.
Perform stock accuracy checks and resolve operational concerns quickly.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members to foster growth and performance.
Allocate resources efficiently based on expected volumes and operational needs.
Contribute to process improvements and support change initiatives to enhance performance.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.
Act as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing concerns and operational issues.
Our afternoon shifts run between: -Mon – Thursday 2:30pm-10:30pm and on Fridays 12:30pm-6:30pm
What You Will Bring:
Experience co-ordinating and/or managing a small to medium and diverse team.
Experience in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing, with online fulfillment (desirable).
Experience operating within an RF scanning and/or automated environment.
Ability to work independently, efficiently and take initiative.
Ability to motivate others to achieve KIPs and deadlines.
Ability to lead and work within a team creating a positive work environment.
Computer literate and excellent communication skills.
