About the Opportunity:

As one of our Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistant) you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Corinda. Living Support Partners provide direct care and assistance to resident with all activities of daily living. They partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. This position is to work as an effective household member and is supervised, providing care for residents in a specific household. They are responsible for assisting and supporting their wellbeing through professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.

Things that work for us:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential

  • 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded

  • Available to work 2230 - 0630 roster

    Week 1 - Monday, Thursday, Sunday

    Week 2 - Thursday, Sunday

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records

  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
