About The Company
Prime Solutions Group, Inc (PSG) provides engineering services and software data processing products for remote sensing systems. Our expert RF (SAR, Infrared, Electro-Optical) systems engineers and data scientists translate physics-based and nonlinear (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) methods using advanced modeling and simulation tools. These outputs are used by software developers who develop, integrate, test and deploy higher order, scripting or tool language into software code executable in mission environments using cloud, on-premise or edge computing resources. Our unique brand of agile systems software engineering delivers innovative high-quality software capability fast using sustainable and repeatable model-based techniques. The company core is deeply rooted in science and technology with strong qualifications in radar systems and specifically Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems. The company headquarters and center of operations is located on the Goodyear, Arizona campus once occupied by Goodyear Aerospace, Loral Defense Systems, and Lockheed Martin. It was at this campus where SAR was patented by Carl Wiley, Goodyear Aerospace, in 1951. With our radar technology base, PSG specializes in the ground processing of remote sensing data (SAR, electro-optical, Infrared, and hyperspectral). In this practice we focus on algorithm development and deployment to transform sensor data into usable intelligence for military and commercial uses. This includes imaging, polarimetrics, change detection, object identification, moving target indication and automatic target recognition. PSG thrives on innovative technology insertion and embraces the digital transformation brought on by the Information Age. Technologies such as Big Data, Internet of Things, cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are used to build on our software and algorithm product portfolio. Our discriminator is our unique brand of Agile Systems Software Development processes.

Prime Solutions Group (PSG), Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile program supporting a major defense customer. This initiative delivers a cutting-edge Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform, managing and analyzing digital engineering data to enable seamless tool interoperability, AI-ready datasets, and a fully integrated digital thread.

In this role, you will design, deploy, and sustain modern enterprise cloud infrastructures supporting Linux, Windows, containerized applications, virtualized systems, and enterprise-scale DevSecOps pipelines. You will lead efforts in automation, workflow orchestration, and CI/CD integration in one of the government’s most complex, secure, and mission-critical digital environments.

This is a fast-paced, challenging, and highly rewarding opportunity to deliver enterprise-scale solutions, mentor top technical talent, and directly impact U.S. national security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services across Linux and Windows environments.

  • Configure and manage Identity & Access Management (IdAM), Active Directory, and LDAP integrations.
  • Engineer containerized solutions and orchestrated workflows (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings to government stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop and execute automated testing plans for both security and functional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps issues with rigor and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams, contributing to sprints, JIRA tasks, and CI/CD improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share expertise to elevate team capabilities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to apply engineering rigor and system validation practices
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling: Foreman, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments (e.g., Cameo, Teamwork Cloud)
  • Expertise with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Rancher)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)
  • Experience with ServiceNow integration
  • SharePoint or IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management experience
  • Exposure to multiple cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, IBM)
  • Expertise with API gateways, catalogs, and integration layers
  • Experience developing automated test plans (e.g., Selenium)
  • Ability to lead systems engineering perspectives across infrastructure, cloud, and security domains
