About the Role
6 years of experience with a high school degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience 3+ years of experience as an R&D technician in med device Advanced CAD skills including SolidWorks (CAD) Basic (or better) understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Detailed oriented, organized, and a self-starter Good oral and written communication skills with ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in writing Advanced ability to problem solve, multi-task, and manage numerous projects simultaneously Ability to work in a team environment interacting with engineers and technicians Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction Good teammate Previous experience with catheter manufacturing (i.e. coil winding, braiders, etc.) preferred Previous experience with Instron Testing System and milling machines Mechanically inclined with history of creative problem solving highly preferred Demonstrated ability to setup/conduct product testing and collect data to medical device standards
