About the Role
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience relevant to this role Minimum of 2 years of experience as a leader of technical people (not necessarily by means of holding direct reports) Ability to travel (approximately 10%, domestic & international) at times to support development and transfer activities at various geographic locations Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar Proven leadership and management of a technical group, providing coaching and development Prior experience in medical device or other highly-regulated industry Experience in the design, development and qualification of automated electrical test and inspection equipment Experience leading teams in developing and transferring manufacturing processes and/or production lines throughout a global network Experience working on development programs that span a wide range of functional and geographical reach Vision to see what technologies are going to be needed in the future and ability to get them started with little oversight or guidance Experience leading teams throughout a product life cycle from exploratory to commercialization and end of life Leadership traits/skillsets combined with experience working with component/product vendors Electrical and Software aptitude
