Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in commercial and industrial piping systems and a commitment to excellence and safety on every project. In addition to performing pipefitting duties, this individual will play a key role in coaching and mentoring apprentices, fostering their growth and development within the trade.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain hydronic, steam, and industrial piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Install and connect large mechanical equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, and related systems.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
• Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required specifications using hand and power tools.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, providing hands-on instruction, guidance, and feedback to develop their technical and professional skills.
• Maintain organization, efficiency, and cleanliness on job sites.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams, contractors, and supervisors to ensure successful project completion.  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Minimum 5 years of documented commercial or industrial pipefitting experience required for Journeyman consideration.
• Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 30 certification a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate apprentices.  

***Candidates with zero experience may be considered for entry into our Apprentice Program, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities under experienced journeymen.
