This role is ideal for someone with meticulous attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities, particularly in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Kids Club Manager will excel in communication with children, parents, and fellow staff members, backed by prior experience within a Kids Club setting. Our perfect fit is an individual driven by a genuine passion for the safety and well-being of children, spanning ages from two months to twelve years.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Purpose:</strong> Lead, coach, and train the Kids Club team to provide a safe, fun, and active environment for children.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee the Kids Club facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment for children aged two months to twelve years. Supervise children's activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.</li>
<li>Assist with training of the Kids Club Associate team.</li>
<li>Schedule staff shifts and ensures adequate coverage during operating hours, monitoring child-to-staff ratios.</li>
<li>Manage reservations and child agreements, ensuring efficient communication with parents and tracking of bookings.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Kids Club Manager to align team goals, coordinate daily and weekly tasks, and ensure efficient team operations.</li>
<li>Implement emergency procedures for the Kids Club, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols.</li>
<li>Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts for children in the Kids Club.</li>
<li>Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the Kids Club facility.</li>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and gym management regarding Kids Club policies, procedures, and updates.</li>
<li>Foster positive relationships with members and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the Kids Club.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1 year in a supervisory role, previous experience in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming.</li>
<li>Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.</li>
<li>Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing and enriching environment for their growth and development.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate Kids Club operating hours.</li>
<li>Detail Oriented; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office applications</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must successfully pass background check.</li>
<li>CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public</li>
<li>Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or email system</li>
<li>Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.</li>
</ul>
