Las Vegas
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement production plans, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to timelines.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are in good working condition and that downtime is minimized.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Supervise and manage production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that team members are well-equipped to meet their responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities for improving production processes, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices in production management to optimize performance and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, providing insights to senior management.
- Document production procedures, ensuring they are followed consistently.
- Communicate production status and any issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all production activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety within the production team, ensuring that safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any potential hazards or risks.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong working relationships.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for raw materials and suppliers.
- Other duties as requested and/or assigned.
Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in production and inventory management, with a track record of success in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and production planning tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
